As a new dad, I allowed convenience and comfort creep onto my plate, and my confidence was at an all time low. I decided to make a change for myself and set an example for my two boys.
I did not diet. I made easy, high protein and low calorie versions of my favorite foods so hitting my nutrition goals was sustainable and most importantly FUN.

My Recipe Design Philosophy
When developing recipes, I focus on balancing protein and calories, aiming for 10 calories or less per gram of protein and at least 30g protein per serving. For anyone on lower-calorie diets, just divide the recipe into more portions to reduce calories while keeping the protein content balanced.

I'm not alone on this journey. Together with my wife, 2 boys, and 2 Boston Terriers, we are Better Cheat Meals.
