2-3tablespoons(30ml)protein boosted milkadjust for your desired consistency
1tablespoon(7g)unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
Cocoa Puff Bottom Layer
Add cereal and milk to your container or bowl.
Protein Pudding
In another bowl, mix protein powder, milk cocoa powder. Stir until it's combined. The amount of milk you need will depend on your protein powder brand. See notes.
Spread the pudding on top of your cereal and garnish with a few extra cocoa pops.
The amount of milk you need will vary depending on your protein powder brand. I use Optimum Nutrition Whey, which needs about 2-3 tablespoons to make a pudding.
Add 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach the consistency you want.
These are best made fresh if you like crunchy cereal.
If you make them ahead, the cereal absorbs the milk and softens the cereal.
I make these in 1.5 cup (400 ml) containers.
Your choice of milk will affect the nutrition, here's my suggestions for milk brands:
NZ/AUS: Vitasoy Protein Plus milk (this is what I use in this recipe)
USA: Fairlife
UK: Cowbelle
I updated this recipe to to decrease the calories slightly, originally I published it as 360 calories for 36 g protein. If you want to increase the protein add more milk to the cereal or add a bit of extra protein powder to your pudding layer.
